對此，我小組進行了一系列深刻的探討與走訪調查，總結如下：

在我們調查中學生中，同學們對看網路小說的觀點大致有如下七種：

一．閱讀網路小說可以打發無聊的時間。

二．緩解學習壓力。

三．小說中的情節起伏跌宕，扣人心弦，因對小說情節的喜歡而閱讀。

四．可以從網路小說的佳作中發掘文章的精華，從而運用到學習上。

五．網路小說沒有什麼價值意義，不值得花費時間去閱讀。

六．網路小說可看可不看。

七．看網路小說會影響學習。

隨著社會的發展，新一代的文學，網路小說已然步入了人們的生活之中，對於中學生是否應該閱讀網路小說，我認為我們應當樹立新的觀點。閱讀網路小說，可以既提高我們的課外閱讀量，又可以讓我們從中發掘網路小說的文筆精華，再將這些運用到學習之上，有助於提高我們的寫作水平，更有益於充實我們的生活。但我們閱讀網路小說，不是一味的沉迷其中，而是應當學會斷章取義。許多人看網路小說，是純粹的沉迷在小說的故事情節之中，不能自拔，以至於無所得而且浪費了大好時光。我們閱讀網路小說，應當學會合理，科學地去品讀任何一類優秀的作品。

誠然，在當今社會，網路小說已然成為大多數人心中的新寵。不可否認，它可以滿足現代人的需求，在網路小說發展的過程之中，有的人因它而受益，也有的人因它而受到了不小的危害，但歸根究底，造成這一切的原因還是源於人們自身。對於網路小說，它所涉及的領域十分寬廣，因而，也包含了不少不健康的作品，這些大多會成為人們精神與身心發展的毒瘤，甚至於人們會以身試法，造成許多悲劇的產生。也有許多唯美的言情小說，致使新一代的男女們沉浸其中，不能自拔，常將現實與虛幻的世界弄混，終日生活在幻想之中，不僅浪費了時間，迷失了自我，也致使網路小說的真正價值被漸漸地埋沒。

在我們的調查之中，將近百分之八十的人閱讀網路小說，都是將閱讀網路小說當作打發無聊時間的工具，因而使網路小說失去了它們原有的價值。而這在無形之中，也致使他們受到了許多不好影響，這是因為他們沒有正確地去發掘網路小說的價值所在。
